The weeder, combined with a high-performance guidance system, allows precision work and high work rates, while improving operator comfort. Hoeing can be optimized by combining it with in-row spraying equipment or liquid or solid fertilizers.
The quantities of products used are significantly reduced, and losses due to evaporation or runoff are minimized. In addition to eliminating weeds and reducing seed bank, the mechanical action of hoeing on the soil allows us to reduce the presence of pests and the risk of crop disease.
Its aerating action on the soil allows a good hygrometric exchange between air and soil, thus favoring crop development. The soil’s crust is destroyed, reducing runoff and erosion, while mineralization is enhanced by improved microbial activity.
The crop thus benefits from more assimilable nitrogen and more water.
